Good Evening Brookhaven Barracuda Families!

We have now opened the Calendar for RSVPs for the following events:

1. Home Swim Meet on Monday June 1st. (RSVP due 5/29 at 7 pm)

2. Away Swim Meet on Thursday June 4th. (RSVP due 5/29 at 7 pm)

**PLEASE ENSURE YOU RSVP YES OR NO TO ALL EVENTS. WE WILL ASSUME "NO" IF YOU DO NOT RSVP.**

RSVP'S:

When you RSVP for a swim meet there is an option to suggest events that your swimmer(s) can be signed up for. We will have to switch swimmers between events so please keep in mind that the events you choose might change. Please leave a note for us if you have specific feedback/suggestions why/why not an event may be a best or not best choice. (Instructions below)

SWIM MEET RSVP GUIDANCE:

• 1. Go to: Signup Calendar - Brookhaven (swimtopia.com)
• 2. RSVP (declare status) for both the 6/3 and 6/6 swim meets.
• 3. Go to "Meet Entry Open" (green box)
• 4. Choose "Edit" and here you can choose requested events.
• 5. Please note that swimmers can only swim up to 3 individual events.
• 6. Be sure to update the Relays tab (if arriving late or leaving early). (*Relays will be computed utilizing swimmer best time and coach input. Please note that if your swimmer does not make it into a relay for the first meet, there are plenty of future opportunities!!).
• 7. Add a note to the Coach, if needed. (If your swimmer is a 6 & Under please only register for the 6 & Under 25m Freestyle Event)

RELAYS:

Relays are automatically assigned via the system based on swimmer(s) best time for the stroke needed. Coaches will adjust as needed. If your swimmer will not be at the swim meet on time or must leave early, we have to know in advance to ensure they are not assigned to relays. Relays are the very first and very last event of the swim meet.

FINAL MEET ENTRIES:

The day prior to a swim meet we will send out a draft of the events your swimmer(s) are signed up for. Please review and immediately submit back any requested changes. The day of the meet a final draft of the Heat Sheet and swimmer entries will be published.
